The untold stories behind Calgary's pedestrian-vehicle collisions
For our SAIT Journalism capstone project, Natasha Dias and I investigated the human stories behind pedestrian-vehicle collisions in Calgary. We combined interviews, research and data to explore the experiences of people affected by collisions and the broader issue of pedestrian safety in the city.
The story was published by the Calgary Herald, giving our reporting an opportunity to reach a wider Calgary audience. This project strengthened my skills in investigative reporting and collaborative storytelling.
